Hollie Sheppard re-joined the d3t team in February as a Junior Artist.

EXPERIENCE/CAREER BACKGROUND?

Make & See (Junior Animator & Artist)

Pet Identity Ltd (Admin Assistant)

d3t (Junior Artist)

WHY d3t?

d3t is a team full of friendly people and a nice place to work, so it was easy to get settled in. Here I can work on various exciting projects whilst being taught new skills by my peers. I always look forward to hearing what kind of project we’ll work on next!

WHAT WAS THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS LIKE?

Casual but professional. I was asked to do an art test (and was even kindly given an extension due to being away from home), then asked to come in and have a chat about the test, what I had chosen, how well it was done etc. The induction was also professional and informative, I understood all the information I needed to know about the company on the first day.

TELL US SOME INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT YOURSELF.

I’ve drawn since a young child and grew up playing games. Originally, I wanted to become a Palaeontologist due to my obsession with dinosaurs, but later changed to Video Game Artist as I got older. I’m a trained barista and obsessed with dogs and anything dinosaur related. I also own two Chinese fire bellied newts, called Rupert and Rascal.

My current favourite games are Subnautica and Ark: Survival Evolved.
