d3t welcomes Chris Riley, Senior Artist

Please detail a bit of information about your experience/career background?

I’ve been in the industry for over a decade at this point, starting off in QA before working my way into the Art team at Evolution Studio’s, where I was involved on both the Motorstorm Franchise and Driveclub.

I’ve also had experience working with VR at Starship, and mostly recently I was a Senior Artist at Firesprite for almost five years.

Why d3t?

I chose to come to d3t because of its fantastic reputation as a great place to work, along with its diverse range of projects – all of which made me extremely excited at the opportunity!

What do you love about games?

I love the interactive nature of games, seeing worlds come to life that so much time and effort has gone into designing and creating, it gives you something other forms of media just can’t.

What games are you currently playing, and what is your favourite game?

I’ve been enjoying Cyberpunk 2077 and No Man’s Sky recently, and I generally have a love anything Sci Fi. However, I’m also partial to a cheeky game of FIFA every now and then.

Do you have any fun facts or hobbies?

I have two cocker spaniels, Indie and Murphy, and I love taking them on adventures. My main hobbies are drawing and painting, and I have a deep love for learning about Art.
