d3t welcomes Charlie, Senior Programmer
7th Apr 2021
Experience / Career Background
After graduating from the University of Liverpool in computer science, I took on the role of programmer at Spiral House.
Over a period of 13 years, I have worked on a large array of games on multiple platforms, from smaller titles like EyePet for PSP to larger titles such as Blur and Hawken. From ports to original IP on custom engines, and from tools to gameplay and tech, such as bespoke AR solutions – I have had the opportunity to be involved in a variety of games during my time in the industry.
Working collaboratively with a talented group of people really appeals to me, and I feel d3t really deliver on this.
The variety of projects d3t undertake, the whole ethos of no crunch and the fact d3t win the gamesindustry.biz ‘best places to work’ awards, are just some of many reasons d3t was a place I wanted to work.
I enjoy bouldering and motorcycling when the weather’s nice, and resort to inside metalwork/electronics projects when it’s not!
