d3t welcomes Ian Cadman, Senior Programmer
27th Aug 2020
Experience / Career Background
After completing my Uni degree, I initially took on the role of Video Software Engineer at Astra Games in Bridgend developing slot machine games.
I then spent the next 6 years at Brain in a Jar where I developed many racing titles for the PS2, Nintendo Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 including Indy 500 Evolution, Driver: San Francisco and Nascar.
For the last 8 years I’ve been working at Spiral House in Liverpool on many current gen projects including their own IP, Troll&I, and I have enjoyed porting titles such as Lumo over to the Nintendo Switch. I have had experience across all aspects of programming from working within teams from 2 to 200.
d3t’s recent projects really appealed to me, and the recruitment process highlighted how I could be a part of a talented and growing team. Having the opportunity to continue to work on all aspects of programming was a must for me, as this is what I have enjoyed throughout my career so far. It is also the perfect location for me.
Weekends are normally spent Watching football and F1. I enjoy racing games, Fifa and FPS although I’ve impressed many people with my ability to miss the easiest of targets.
