d3t welcomes Jason Platt, Senior QA Tester

Experience / Career Background

I have over 22 years’ experience in QA. I started at Psygnosis back in 1995 just before the PlayStation launched. I was then promoted to a Test Lead mid 1996 and was there until 2016, by then it had become part of Sony. I then had some time out and tried other roles in short fixed term contracts in a volunteer aspect. I went back into test in 2018 but this time in the Music industry, as an Automation Tester based in Manchester.

Why d3t?

I know a few people who work here and they have given glowing endorsements of the working culture at d3t, so when the opportunity came up I had to see for myself.

Fun fact:

I have been doing traditional Ju Jitsu (Japanese) for the last 3 years and just before the COVID-19 lockdown, graded to my next belt. I play guitar when I can, mainly hard rock/metal. And it goes without saying I have been playing computer games since I was 9, I should know better at my age!
