Please detail a bit of information about your experience/career background?

After deciding to not go to university I got straight into working and quickly grew an interest in the HR function, many years later I now have my HR CIPD level 5 & 7 qualifications and HR Generalist experience under my belt. What I enjoy the most in HR is creating fair, inclusive and positive environments to watch people grow with the success of a company.

Why d3t?

I’m really looking forward to working somewhere creative where the main goal is to create something fun for the end user. After going to the studio and meeting a few people from the team, I could immediately tell that the culture would be a great fit for me, not to mention how amazing the studio looked too!

What do you love about games?

It’s nice to get outside of your own head for a bit, I like the games that have a story or are based on a film or franchise, so it feels like you are fully immersed in something you already love.

What games are you currently playing, and what is your favourite game?

Admittedly I’m not the biggest gamer, when I was younger I enjoyed playing Spyro and the Harry Potter games on PlayStation 2. Over the lockdowns I also started playing The Sims again and relished in the freedom of being an adult and buying as many expansion packs as I wanted!

Other than that, I have recently started playing the Amazing Spiderman 2 game on my boyfriend’s Xbox and watch him play Halo (apparently, I’m not good enough to actually play Halo with him) :D.

Do you have any fun facts or hobbies?

I love going to music festivals (and have just been to my fifth Glastonbury)! I also love spending time with my cat called Jurgen and tending to my houseplants.
