d3t welcomes Lee Clark, Senior Artist
6th Jul 2022
Please detail a bit of information about your experience/career background?
I started my career as an Environment Artist 20 years ago after leaving Teesside University and was very lucky to be hired by a small company where I had the chance to work on some cool projects! From there I went to work for various studios until I landed at TT Fusion where I spent 12 years working on over 15 LEGO titles.
Why d3t?
I’d heard from a lot of the people that I know working at d3t, who’d spoken about the amazing work culture and how much d3t care for their employees. There is also the opportunity to work on a range of different types of game genres and platforms which is extremely appealing to me.
What do you love about games?
I still get excited seeing the advancements and innovation in modern games, and how much we can now do compared to when I first started out in the industry. Since having a family I have loved seeing the excitement and joy that games bring to my kids, especially when they are running around discovering new worlds and solving puzzles.
What games are you currently playing, and what is your favourite game?
I’ve been a fan of the Battlefield series since 1942 with my favourite being title being Battlefield 1. Currently though, I’m trying to get the time to finish God of War, Jedi: Fallen Order and Ghost of Tsushima, but I’m always struggling as I’m forever stopping to admire the amazing visuals!
Do you have any fun facts or hobbies?
I enjoy playing board games and I’m currently addicted to Korean dramas, where I’m spending a few to many evenings binge watching them.
