THE ROLE - Compliance Analyst – 12 Month Contract
We work with very high-profile clients on amazing game titles and are now seeking to add a Compliance Analyst role within our QA department to increase our capabilities of supporting development.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the planning, full execution and reporting on compliance checks for multiple gaming platforms. The Compliance Analyst will be a part of an experienced QA team and will work alongside team members from all disciplines, to ensure products are thoroughly tested and ready for release.
This exciting new opportunity for a Compliance Analyst will be a 12 month fixed-term contract (with potential extension), based in either of our UK studio sites (Daresbury or Newcastle), on a hybrid working basis. The working pattern is 3 days per week in the studio: Wednesday, Thursday and another day of your choice.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be responsible for the test strategy of multiple products to ensure compliance with the required standard across all supported platforms.
- Ensure all compliance issues are identified, thoroughly investigated and accurately reported.
- Update compliance issues when required to ensure they’re accurate and relevant given the current project status.
- Complete functional testing when required, and as part of the preparation for compliance checks.
- Work with test teams to run suitable test cases.
- Ensure all staff have the required information to aid with the gathering of compliance information when required.
- Research for all platform compliance standards and the associated requirements.
- Creation of focused training programs for staff to learn compliance standards and how to effectively run checks on them.
- Maintain documentation and a knowledge base for compliance standards and platform requirements.
- Be a point of contact for all studio members for compliance related issues.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- First hand experience of the software development lifecycle within the games industry, ideally with testing a product throughout the entire QA lifecycle.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Testing Processes and Methodologies.
- Minimum 1 year of focused on Compliance QA testing experience.
- Strong knowledge of Jira and a test case tracking system such as Test Rail and Xray.
- The capability to assess a range of information and the creation of detailed reports.
- Demonstrates pro-active approach to internal processes and workload.
- Computer literacy.
- Committed teamwork ethic.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
It would be great, but not essential, if you have experience in any of the following:
- Strong understanding of gameplay mechanics.
- Experience of client communication.
